Highlight of the meeting was the discussion on Executive Order 70 which Institutionalize The Whole-Of-Nation Approach In Attaining Inclusive And Sustainable Peace, Creating A National Task Force To End Local Communist Armed Conflict, And Directing The Adoption Of A National Peace Framework; and the presentation of the BTF-ELAC Composition and its 12 Lines of Efforts in the pursuit of Ending Local Communist Armed Conflict in the Bangsamoro region.
BYC, as part of its youth agenda on Peacebuilding and Security — aimed at involving the youth in promoting and sustaining peace and order to ensure that they are protected from situations of armed conflict and human rights violation — ensures that youth in the region are well- represented in efforts to end terrorism and all forms of violence in the region.
The commission was represented by Commissioner Nass Dunding and Planning officer I Datu Raid Salik.
