BYC participates in Active Citizenship Virtual Camp

The Commission including various community related institution participated the Active Citizens (AC) Virtual Camp: Leaders for Social Impact, a digital facilitator development workshop in the Philippines.

The activity is a blended learning session which aim to provide direction towards social action in developing community, encouraging participants to utilize the skills gained in order to impart the learning and experience to others in the community, including supporting social action project.

Further, the participants are also molded to become strong advocates whilst being culturally sensitive and that training will build their confidence as social intermediaries in developing new skills and engaging with their communities.

The activity is a four-day session from 24 to March 27, 2021 organized by Mindanao State University- Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) supported by the British Council in the Philippines. BYC was represented by its Chief of Operations Fatimah Mandangan and Communications officer Amirtu Agao.
