AMDF discusses proposed future programs with BYC

Coherent with the Commission’s Six Imperative Programs, the AMDF endorsed the planned manuals mainly the “Pre-marriage counseling”— enabling partners to give more awareness of their rights and duties at all aspect of marriage. Besides, the proposed Educational Manual in Lanao Del Sur and Marawi City.

Additionally, the organization compiled the identified concerns which are: Health, Education, Livelihood, Protection, Participation, Peace Building, and Sustainability of the Environmental and Natural Resources and the Multi-Sectoral Women in Lanao.

The meeting held at BYC’s Conference Room was represented by the Commission’s Chief of Operations, Fatimah Mandangan, JD and AMDF in the person of Atty. Norma Maruhom, Prof. Norkaya Mohamad and Prof. Raima Dimaampao.

The AMDF is a SEC registered non-profit organization named after “Al-Mujadilah” a chapter in the Holy Qur’an which translates to “The Woman who seeketh Justice”.

Al-Mujadilah Development Foundation, Inc. along the Commission is looking forward to future cooperation of the above-mentioned programs.
