The Commission from different Island provinces showed their support during the final call for the extension of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority to 2025 which was initiated by Civil Society Organizations on June 23, 2021.

The commission’s accredited youth organizations in the province of Maguindanao, Cotabato City and 63 Barangays of North Cotabato through its Commissioner Nass Dunding joined the cause as they stationed themselves in the route of the peace caravan.

In Marawi City including the province of Lanao Del Sur, The Commission also extended its full support as it was headed by its Chairperson, Member of the BTA Parliament Dr. Marjanie S. Mimbantas Macasalong who participated in signing the manifesto supporting the call.

Meanwhile, a simultaneous Peace Caravan held in Tawi-Tawi Province spearheaded by ENGR. HJI. GAMAL SABAL, The Focal Person of Tawi-Tawi MILF Political Committee of Eleven (11) municipalities together Tawi-Tawi Commissioner Pratima Sabal Samsaraji.

 At the same time, the youth sector of Basilan Province led by its Commissioner Hamdie Tanjil and the Provincial office of Tawi-Tawi headed by Commissioner Muhammad Faizal Sali also conveyed their support to extend the transition.

With common Vision and Aspiration, the said activity was held in full support to certify the urgent bill, the Extension of Bangsamoro Transition Authority to 2025 by the President of the Philippines.
