The Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) – Tawi-Tawi along with different offices and institutions participated the Focus Group Discussion on Improving Rido Settlement conducted by the Ministry of Public Order and Safetey (MPOS) – BARMM on Friday, October 22 at Rachel’s Place, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.
The discussion aims to improve rido settlement interventions through gathering evidence-based data, scrutinizing various factors that affect the issue, and how the issue should be addressed through formulating different strategies.
In the activity, series of queries were given light in particular on the existing efforts on Rido Settlement, its challenges and gaps.
Moreover, possible areas of collaboration, efforts of existing actors, prevention on election-related conflicts, and ways forward initiatives were also discussed.
Also present in the discourse were MLGU, academes, religious sector, NGO’s, and peace and security sectors. (BYC PR Section)
