Aiming to continue the efforts in providing mechanisms for the youth, the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) Tawi-Tawi discussed with Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education’s Technical Education and Skills Development (MBHTE-TESD) Tawi-Tawi on Friday, November 06, regarding memorandum of agreement on technical and vocational opportunities.
During the said meeting, BYC Commissioner Pratima Sabal Samsaraji emphasized the commission’s mandate to determine possible collaboration on different areas of youth participation based on the provided Bangsamoro Youth Transition Priority Agenda (BYTPA).
Moreover, Commissioner Samsaraji presented the list of BYC accredited youth organizations along with their accomplishment reports and future initiatives.
MBHTE-TESD Senior Specialist Mumtadz G. Yusop highlighted its plan in providing scholarship assistance for the youth through skills and capability development.
The implementation of such program is also seen by the BYC as an avenue to encourage other island provinces in aiding Bangsamoro youth. (BYC PR Section)
