The Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) – Maguindanao, Cotabato City and Special Geographic Areas received accreditation documents from 22 newly established youth organizations in Datu Paglas and Upi, Maguindanao.
The accreditation documents of six youth organizations in Datu Paglas were submitted by Local Youth Development Officer Muchiqueca Grace Zoe Distor on April 21 and received by BYC Provincial Project Development Officer Aira Hazna Ampatuan.
Meanwhile, the documents of another 16 youth organizations in Upi were submitted on April 22 by Local Youth Development Officer Pearl Chiong and received by BYC Maguindanao District I Program Coordinator Jammel Mumbas.
The said documents will undergo a screening and deliberation process for the youth organizations to be fully accredited.
Accreditation at BYC serves as the youth organizations’ legal identity and will open opportunities for them to engagements and participation in development-related programs of the Bangsamoro Government and other development partners. (BYC PR Unit)
