Cotabato City (November 29, 2022) – The Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) Lanao del Sur with Marawi City and the Bangsamoro Human Rights Commission (BHRC)- Lanao del Sur conducted the “Training Awareness on Human Rights Violations” on November 28, 2022 in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur.
Representatives from several BYC-LDS accredited organizations, private schools and youth leaders from several towns participated in the said training.
The participants were taught of basic concepts of human rights, and HRV Documentation and Monitoring. It aims to fully equip and motivate the participants as Grassroots Monitors (GRMs).
Meanwhile, Attorney Jashim A. Abdulrahman, Sh.L., MAIS also graced the program. He conveyed a discussion on “Encouraging the Youth for Human Rights Works: Islamic Perspective.” (BYC PR Unit/SAMN)
