The Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) held a meeting with the Bangsamoro Sports Commission (BSC) on Friday, January 13, at the BYC Regional Office, Cotabato City to explore areas of collaboration on their programs, projects and activities.
The meeting was led by BYC Chairperson Marjanie Mimbantas Macasalong and BSC Chairperson Arsalan Diamaoden.
Among the meeting agenda were discussions on the collaboration of the agencies on accreditation program, ideation of camaraderie-building activities among other Bangsamoro commissions, and policies on integration of Islamic guidelines in sports.
Chairperson Macasalong stressed the importance of a strong relationship between the youth and sports.
“It is already in our mind na dapat we can work together. The two Commissions really need to collaborate very closely para sa mga program natin,” he said.
Also present were BYC Commissioner Nasserudin Dunding, BSC Commissioners Yushoup Sario, Adzhar Tingkahan and Abdulkhabir Musa along with several BSC staff.
BYC is an office attached to the Office of the Chief Minister that provides leadership in the formulation and initiation of regional policies and plans, and in the setting of priorities and direction for youth promotion and development programs and activities. (BYC PR Unit/KAA)
