COTABATO CITY (June 7, 2023) — The Bangsamoro Youth Commission through the Office of the Commissioner for Tawi-Tawi headed by Commissioner Pratima Sabal-Samsaraji opens opportunities for youth in the province during a courtesy visit to Bongao Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer (MDRRMO) l-Gibran I. Amilasan.
During the meeting, Amilasan highlighted their upcoming training programs, particularly the Training on Water Search and Rescue (WASAR) which will be participated by BYC accredited youth organizations.
The activity aims to equip young leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge, and enhance their capacity to contribute to disaster response efforts in the community.
The said training will commence on the 3rd week of June 2023 in partnership with Philippine Coastguard Tawi-Tawi. (BYC PR Unit/AAA)
