BYC holds Mid-Year Assessment 2024

COTABATO CITY (July 12, 2024) – To evaluate its performance and achievements for the first half of the year, the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) conducted a two-day Mid-Year Assessment at Em Manor Hotel, Cotabato City, on July 10-11, 2024.

The assessment aimed at reviewing and evaluating the commission’s performance and accomplishments for the first semester, while also enhancing program execution for the rest of the year. Recommendations and solutions for improved performance in the second semester were key outcomes of the event.

In his message, BYC Commissioner Nasserudin Dunding emphasized the importance of performing duties with excellence and integrity.

“Activities like these are very important. Assessing our work is crucial because innovation is essential. As a commission, it is beneficial for us to attend such programs and recognize this as positive developments for our office,” Dunding stated.

During the two-day activity, employees from the Technical Services Division (TSD), the Administrative and Finance Division (AFD) of the regional office, as well as offices of the Commissioners, evaluated their half-year performances and addressed pressing operational issues.

The TSD, along with BYC MagCotSga, presented their programs, projects, and activities (PPAs), as well as challenges encountered. Meanwhile, the AFD reported and updated on financial achievements, supply and procurement status, budget execution, and fund utilization. An open forum followed to address any clarifications.
