COTABATO CITY (Dec. 16, 2024) – The Bangsamoro Youth Commission conducted its Co-designing activity for its 2025 programs on Dec. 12-13, 2024, at the Mall of Alnor, Cotabato City.
The two-day activity, dubbed Review & Foresight: Transition from 2024 to2025, aimed to define the Commission’s core values and principles, evaluate its 2024 programs, introduce foresight planning tools, and co-design Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) for the 2025 fiscal year.
Employees of the Commission engaged in sessions on organizational principles, strengths-weaknessese-opportunities-threats analysis of 2024 PPAs, and identified future trends using foresight tools. The event also focused on crafting innovative programs that align with BYC’s strategic priorities and vision for the Bangsamoro youth.
Settie Ivy Ampatuan, OIC Chief of Technical Services Division, highlighted the importance of a value-driven approach in the Commission’s operations.
“We need to establish a solid foundation of core values to guide our actions and ensure that our efforts are focused and beneficial to the Bangsamoro youth,” she said.
BYC Commissioner for Tawi-Tawi Pratima Sabal Samsaraji emphasized resource efficiency and the importance of clarity in planning.
“We must strive not only for effectiveness in our deliverables but also efficiency in utilizing government resources. Every peso, every effort counts. The people we serve deserve nothing less,” she said.
The co-designing serves as a roadmap for BYC’s 2025 plans, focusing on initiatives that support the Commission’s vision in advancing the welfare of the Bangsamoro youth. (BYC PR Unit/AAA)
