BYC, AAI conduct Ramdamin ang Ramadhan Symposium

In relation to the Commission’s imperative agenda which point to Youth Transformative Education incorporating Spiritual Growth, and the Al-Jalis As-Salih’s creed on educating the right teachings of Islamic faith among muslims, a collaborative effort resulted to implementation of the Ramdamin Ramadhan 2021 Islamic Symposium with further guidance from Hay-atol Ulama and Darul Ifta.

The program held at Shariff Kabungsuan Cultural Complex adhered the provided Health Standard Protocol limiting participants to 200 enabling the observance of social distancing and preventing from crowding. The whole day Symposium discussed topics which are essential for knowledge and spiritual preparation for the coming of the Holy Month of Ramadhan brought by the esteemed scholars of the Bangsamoro region.

Further, as far as the program give concern for the betterment of the youth, the Commission’s Chairperson MP Marjanie Mimbantas Macasalong inspired participants to strengthen their faith reminding them to not see any less the upcoming Ramadhan just because the prevalence of Pandemic is still evident.

Additionally, He also stressed the Commission’s committment to support programs which are related to strengthening faith, advocacy, cultural identity as these concerns are part of the Bangsamoro Struggle.

On the other hand, the Chief Minister himself delivered virtual message encouraging the Commission and partner organizations to continue programs that would give support in developing the Youth.

The program resulted to productive learning enabling participants to clarify their concerns in accordance to the given topic. As a result, the Commission will look forward for efforts that would link to the crafted imperative programs.
