Representatives of several youth organizations from the province of Lanao del Sur and Marawi City participated in the Regional and Provincial Youth, Peace and Security consultation for for the formulation of the National Action Plan on Youth, Peace and Security (NAP-YPS) on Oct. 11-13 in Libertad, Misamis Oriental.
The consultation was organized by the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) – Lanao del Sur and Marawi City, the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP), the Norwegian Embassy Manila, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
It was participated by 17 youth orgaizations, namely: Coalition of Moro Movement Incorporated (CMYM), RGBM Bongabong Youth Association, Philippine Muslim Student Association (PHIMSA), YLS Coastal Area, RYP, YLS Basak Area, YLS Taraka Chapter, YLS Tamparan Chapter, Sindaw Go Sowara, THUMA, SK Federation, Ugop Ko Masa Organization, Pro-Youth Active PH, ANTAP, Mountaineering Club, Rostrum Debate Varsity, and MOR.
