HAMDIE I. TANJIL

Commissioner, Bangsamoro Youth Commission – BARMM

Hamdie, was born on January 6, 1986 in Tipo-Tipo Basilan Province.

He finished his tertiary education at Basilan State College with the degree of Bachelor of Arts Major in Political Science in 2009, since his college days he is already an active member of school organization.

In March 2012, his first employment as Community organizer at the Bangsmoro Development Agency ZamBas Region under the flagship of Mindanao Trust Fund –Reconstruction and Development Program until July 2017 designated as the Finance and Admin Assistant under UNICEF Program.

 By dedication in serving the Bangsamoro Youth, he engages and attended different activities within and across the country.

In June 19-21, 2014 he joins the Kick- off Seminar for Capacity Building for Human Resource and in the same year he also joins the Consolidation for Peace for Mindanao in Hiroshima Japan.

In Dec. 12, 2016 he attended a short political course in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.  He was a member and took part on the lobbying team of the BOL campaign in the House of Congress representing Mindanao Alliance for Peace (MAP )BASILAN chapter

 Last Jan.2020 he was hired and designated as the Provincial Coordinator of the Office on the Bangsamoro Youth Affairs (OBYA) Basilan and also the Provincial Coordinator of the Bangsamoro Youth Commission.

Before that he is an active member of Peace Advocates in the Province.
