The Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process conducted a consultation on Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS), Peacebuilding Approaches, and Workshop on the Regional Action Plan on YPS (RAPYPS) at MSU – IPDM Social Hall on June 3-5, 2021.
The crafting of the National Action Plan on Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) which participated by different youth organizations served as an avenue to recognize the role of the youth sector in creating a peaceful, and meaningful impact in the community.
In addition, the said event was also incorporated with lectures and activities facilitated by various representatives in order to instill camaraderie and strengthen network amongst youth in Lanao del Sur.
The activity was culminated on its 3rd day which attended by offices and agencies including the Bangsamoro Youth Commission, AKO Bakwit, and representatives from the Provincial Office of Lanao Del Sur.
As the youth are expected to be the future leaders, the Commission expressed its efforts in fulfilling its mandate of molding the Bangsamoro youth in order to create a safer and more peaceful Bangsamoro Land.
