Numerous youth participated in the Pagsumadja: Ramadhan Islamic Symposium on Saturday, April 23, at Barangay Liang, Patikul, Sulu.
Ustadz Sauki Mangkabong shed light on the significance of Ramadhan as a month of rekindling relationship with the Almighty through increasing worship, and acts of charity.
BYC Sulu Commissioner Mohammad Faizal S. Alih graced the program and shared insights on the importance of spiritual empowerment to the youth as it leads to the establishment of God-conscious leadership.
Personnel from government security forces shared their knowledge and experience relative to Peace, Security and Development, and tangible progress specifically in the province of Sulu.
The program concluded with the distribution of Iftar to the participants facilitated by the Moro Youth Catalyst Association Inc., together with the KCC-Youth Council sponsored by the Islamic Development Bank.
