COTABATO CITY (September 16, 2022)—The Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) Tawi-Tawi in collaboration with MBHTE – Tawi-Tawi conducted Book Caravan for Peace on Wednesday, September 14, at Panglima Annao Elementary School.
Pupils were given with educational materials such as books, pencils, and crayons, among others. Precautionary kits were also distributed as part of observing the health standard protocol.
The Commission also lead a demonstration on proper hand washing which is vital in preventing the spread of any disease.
Commissioner Pratima Sabal-Samsaraji in her message, introduced the Commission, its mandate, and the Bangsamoro Government in general.
She emphasized that the government is doing its best to reach areas that are difficult to extend to in order to bring the government closer to its constituents.
“We are bringing closer and closer the Bangsamoro Government to its constituents especially in the far-flung area and grassroots,” she said.
Pupils also played educational parlor games which relate its questions about the Bangsamoro Government. Winners of the said activity were given with prizes. (BYC PR Unit/AAA)
