Greetings of peace and mercy to everyone.

As we embark on a benchmarking activity with the National Youth Commission, I would like to formally convey that we see this opportunity as an endeavor that holds immense potential for the youth of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. We see this as a step forward in empowering young generations and fostering positive change in our communities.

The goals of this benchmarking activity are far-reaching and impactful. First and foremost, we aim to enhance the performance of our youth-led initiatives. By examining the best practices, strategies, and programs implemented by the National Youth Commission, we can learn valuable lessons that will guide us toward more effective and efficient endeavors.

Competitiveness is another crucial aspect we wish to address. Through benchmarking, we seek to evaluate the relative strength and standing of our organization within the broader national context. By comparing our performance metrics, projects, and services with our counterparts at the national level, we can gain valuable insights into our strengths and areas for improvement. This analysis will enable us to take proactive steps to elevate our competitiveness and enhance the opportunities available to the Bangsamoro youth.

Innovation and learning lie at the core of this benchmarking activity. Our partnership with the National Youth Commission provides us with an invaluable opportunity to observe and adapt innovative approaches, emerging trends, and cutting-edge technologies being employed by the Commission. By embracing these insights, we can foster a culture of continuous improvement, drive innovation within our communities, and stay at the forefront of positive change.

Setting meaningful goals is essential for progress. Through benchmarking, we can establish realistic and ambitious targets based on the accomplishments of the National Youth Commission. By studying their achievements, we can identify milestones to strive for, align our efforts accordingly, and measure our progress against recognized benchmarks. This will ensure that our youth-led initiatives are purposeful, focused, and well-positioned to make a significant impact on the lives of our fellow young Bangsamoro.

Lastly, this benchmarking activity is an opportunity for transformative change within BYC and the broader community, especially for the youth. By challenging the status quo, embracing innovation, and initiating strategic initiatives, we can transform the youth landscape in the Bangsamoro region. By learning from the experiences of the National Youth Commission and incorporating their successful approaches, we can revolutionize our efforts, amplify our impact, and foster an environment where our youth thrive, contribute, and lead.

In conclusion, the benchmarking activity between the Bangsamoro Youth Commission and the National Youth Commission signifies our commitment to the youth of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. It is a testament to our dedication to empowering our young generation, improving their opportunities, and creating an environment where they can succeed and excel. Together, we will harness the power of knowledge, collaboration, and shared experiences to shape a brighter future for the Bangsamoro youth.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the people of NYC for your warm reception and gracious hospitality. Your openness, support, and willingness to share knowledge and experiences will be invaluable to our learning journey. We are immensely grateful for this collaboration, which fosters a spirit of camaraderie and will enable us to gain valuable insights for the benefit of our youth community.

And to the Support to Bangsamoro Transition Programme or SUBATRA for their generous support and collaboration in making this benchmarking activity possible. Their belief in the potential of the Bangsamoro youth and their commitment to empowering our community is deeply appreciated. We are immensely grateful for their invaluable partnership, which will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and development of our youth-led initiatives and pave the way for a brighter future.

Thank you, and let us embark on this journey of benchmarking, growth, and transformation—together, hand in hand, toward a prosperous tomorrow for our youth and our beloved Bangsamoro.

Wa billahi tawfiq wal hidayah. Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuuh!
