The Bangsamoro people have been steadfastly embarking on a meaningful journey, united by a shared vision—a journey towards mutual understanding, peaceful co-existence, and a shared future in the Bangsamoro.
As we delightfully embrace the 5th founding anniversary of our beloved BARMM Government, undoubtedly, we can attest how this attainment was both marked by decades of struggles and triumph. From revolutionary echoes to autonomy negotiations, our voyage was a result of a collective tenacity and determination. And it is the courage of our leaders—the Mujahideens that we are able to surmount the hurdles along our way, creating a clear path towards autonomy and self-determination.
As we strive to foster a culture that rejects all the notions of violence and conflict, it is within ourselves that we are held accountable towards attaining meaningful peace. Our regional landscape is undeniably filled with dynamics and complexities, making it a challenge for us to sustain what has been inculcated.
Hence, while celebrating five years of milestones, let these challenges be a reminder that the founding of BARMM is not the end but the beginning of a more extensive journey. Through our collective efforts we can turn our aspiration into tangible realities—to firmly craft a culture that promotes peace.
As we work towards it, we would like to accentuate the role of our Bangsamoro youth as valued individuals in the peace process. Your contributions, starting from your respective communities can gradually complete the whole canvass of peace. This celebration is also a gateway to inspire you to embrace your role wholeheartedly as catalyst for positive change.
The Bangsamoro Government mandating the Bangsamoro Youth Commission as an institution that empowers the youth in the region, remains committed to advancing and improving services and addressing concerns, guided by Moral Governance.
As partners in this transformative process, let us continue strengthening, sustaining, and protecting the gains of the peace process. Our success depends on our shared belief and collaborative actions. Thus, your passion, resilience, and commitment are the foundation for sustained peace.
Extending hands in unity, let this celebration inspire the Bangsamoro youth. Happy Bangsamoro Foundation Day to us all, and may the spirit of determination resonate in every endeavor towards a shared and prosperous future.”
