BYC holds annual operational planning

COTABATO CITY (Feb. 6, 2024) – To fortify its strategic initiatives, the Administrative and Finance Division (AFD) of the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) conducted its annual operational planning on January 27-29, 2024, in Glan, Saranggani.

The planning aims to cultivate a collaborative, informed, and efficient work environment that aligns seamlessly with the commission’s overarching goals and priorities.

Nairah Manongcarang, chief of AFD, underscored the significance of the activity in empowering the Commission employees specifically the AFD to fulfill their functions, duties, and responsibilities effectively.

“Through this activity, this is our opportunity not only to gain insightful learnings administratively but most especially to see deeper waht is teamwork, integrity and unity,” Manongcarang said. 

The resource persons for the activity were Hizami C. Amerol and Ian Philip P. Zurita from the Civil Service Commission.

Amerol covered Republic Act 6713, or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees. Meanwhile, Zurita delved into the salient features of leave administration and working hours.

This initiative by the Commission reflects its commitment to continuous improvement and the development of a cohesive and empowered workforce, ready to contribute effectively to the achievement of BYC’s goals. (BYC PR Unit/SAMN)
