Officials and employees of the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) underwent a technical budget hearing on Friday, May 25, in Cotabato City to deliberate its budget proposal for 2024.
BYC’s 2024 proposal was reviewed and assessed by budget and finance experts from the Ministry of Finance, and Budget and Management’s (MFBM) 2024 Technical Budget Hearing Panel to achieve a sound budgeting for the incoming year.
BYC Commissioners Nasserudin Dunding and Mohammad Faizal Alih led the team in presenting the proposal and in answering the questions and clarifications by the panel.
The panel was led by Bangsamoro Budget Office Director Atty. Rahma Sanglitan, and MFBM Deputy Minister Amilbahar Amilasan, Jr.
The Commission’s proposed programs, projects, and activities for 2024 are anchored on its mandates and are contributory to the Bangsamoro Government’s six-year development plan.
